I’m taking a break from trying to finish up the guitar tracks for “Intent” to tell you to go check out the new album from my friend Doug Edmunds, who just so happens also be related to Jeff Edmunds, who’s been laying down those amazing Long Afternoon basslines. Doug and I played together in a band called The Disciples, too, a long long time ago.
Called “The Stars Explode,” Doug’s new stuff is well worth checking out. Doug used to be in State College, Pa.’s The Seen, and made a mark in the mid-90s with his band The Gladhands. It’s good to see and hear him making music again.
