Just thought I’d share some artwork I found recently and quite liked.
The artist, Jeff Jagunich, came to my attention via a thoughtful and measured response to a truly unbelievable blog post by Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan. Yeah, I don’t know why I was reading it either, but Jeff’s response to Billy’s self-gratifying bleats A) made plenty of sense, and B) pointed me to Jeff’s Web site, which contained his artwork. I found the art compelling enough to contact Jeff about it, but haven’t heard back from him. He doesn’t seem to have updated the site for a while, either, but what’s on there now is more than enough to justify a visit or two.

Thanks for posting this link to my artwork, and the mention of my blog post to Billy Corgan. I hadn’t updated my site for a while, and I apologize for not replying to your email sooner. I hope you’ve heard the news about the new Smashing Pumpkins album being a full 44 songs that Billy will release for FREE! What a great guy. I want to take credit, due to my letter, but that would be silly. ;) I just can’t wait to hear the new songs.
